What is Cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy essentially means ‘cold therapy’. Here at Lincoln CryoLab, our Cryo Chamber uses liquid nitrogen to cool the air in the chamber down to temperatures as low as -180 degrees
While this only affects the surface of the skin, it’s enough for your body to trigger it’s thermoreceptors, which tell your body you are freezing. This process switches your body into defensive mode; sending your body’s blood, nutrients and other resources to where they’re needed.
Cryotherapy is completely safe, manageable for even the least cold-tolerant and can be done multiple times a week. We recommend you undertake Cryotherapy regularly to experience its full benefits.
Who is Cryotherapy for?
Clients will often see instant results once they step out of our Cryotherapy Chamber, many reporting a sense of euphoria as they gently warm back up.
